If Nicolas Kolb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicolas Kolb fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Winznau's protests and gave Nicolas Kolb a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Kolb kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francois Strebel made a kick off. Nicolas Kolb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Walter having to interfere. Pablo Schenker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Zeiher in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Nicolas Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, FC Winznau's goal looked a bit too open when Francois Strebel came free, but Pablo Schenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Louis Gätter hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Kolb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Walter. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. When Nicolas Kolb was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. In the 87th minute, Nicolas Kolb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90thth minute of the game Francois Strebel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Winznau's Pablo Schenker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Karakartal JK's Denis Gerber got a free kick in the 91st minute. Favian Schwarz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 93rd playminute.
