An unexpectedly hard shot by Felicien Bürli in the 34th minute of play forced Ufstieger Jungs's goalkeeper Bieito Iñigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Leopoldo Schoch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bieito Iñigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felicien Bürli in the 41st minute of play. Fergus Brünisholz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Schoch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. Fergus Brünisholz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Schoch in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Schoch to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bironico HC defense, Harald Wilhelm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Brünisholz. The Bironico HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Brünisholz should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Schoch succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Harald Wilhelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Harald Wilhelm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fergus Brünisholz was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Schoch might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Brünisholz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Schoch ran back to his position shaking his head. Bieito Iñigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felicien Bürli in the 82nd minute of the match. Harald Wilhelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Leopoldo Schoch came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ufstieger Jungs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Schoch couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Leopoldo Schoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Brünisholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ufstieger Jungs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
