A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute Douglas Garnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthew Fäh hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Jonas Banda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Hitz skillfully saved the ball. Despite being the better team, FC Basel failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
