In the 7thth minute of the game Cedric Witschard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but sswwiitt's Mauritz Mehrtens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Vonwyl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrien Zwyssig having to make a save. If Cedric Witschard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Salvador received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mauritz Mehrtens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedric Witschard struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mauritz Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Komische Frage. In the 28th minute, Rob Schwaller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oscar Salvador came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Komische Frage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Salvador couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Rob Schwaller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cedric Witschard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Gilberto Vonwyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Zwyssig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Salvador's late challenge caught a sswwiitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Salvador helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Komische Frage's Oscar Salvador got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Komische Frage getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dirk Stempfel hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Dany Wermelinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Zwyssig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. From a short distance, Komische Frage's Cedric Witschard, in the 95th minute, tried to place the ball behind Mauritz Mehrtens, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. sswwiitt succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Komische Frage had controlled the match.
