Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 130) Patrizius Lampron started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Andreas Koch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Netzer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Andreas Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Netzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Andreas Koch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Netzer. Cagnagob's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Koch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 18th minute, Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lionel Emennegger. Lionel Emennegger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Howard Howald during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Howard Howald kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The Cagnagob fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Olten's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Rhéaume came free, but Lionel Emennegger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Netzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Huwyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Fc Olten booed when Cagnagob was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Burkhardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cagnagob's Jan Netzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Koch in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Fc Olten's goalkeeper Lionel Emennegger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrizius Lampron. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Andreas Koch made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Rhéaume struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lionel Emennegger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cagnagob. 63 minutes into the game, Paulo Burkhardt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cagnagob's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Olten the free kick. A collision led to Cagnagob getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paulo Burkhardt hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Waldemar Wagner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Olten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Wagner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Patrizius Lampron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Emennegger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florus Hunkeler kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Andreas Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Netzer having to interfere. Patrizius Lampron struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lionel Emennegger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cagnagob. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrizius Lampron in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Emennegger saved Fc Olten from getting behind. Waldemar Wagner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Fc Olten's Jan Netzer threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Koch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fc Olten were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
