In the 7th minute, Gregory Brix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagobert Saluz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Maurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Roman De Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Seitenstecher and the Sorens players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman De Maria hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Seitenstecher's zone, Jack Conte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvester Bürgi came out of the goal and Jack Conte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes Sorens's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Himmelreich who took care of the corner kick. Silvester Bürgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Conte, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Maurer in the 23rd minute of play forced Sorens's goalkeeper Dagobert Saluz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes Sorens's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Himmelreich who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Henric Lind drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Sorens's goalkeeper. A collision led to FC Seitenstecher getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gregory Brix hit a great ball. Silvester Bürgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Kefacha in the 34th minute of play. Gregory Brix struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Dagobert Saluz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Seitenstecher. FC Seitenstecher's Silvester Bürgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Kefacha in the 43rd minute of play. Jack Conte kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Marc Maurer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Maurer made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Robin Schwab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 minutes of play, FC Seitenstecher's Beatus Schmitt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagobert Saluz was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Seitenstecher made a substitution. Eric Scilacci replaced Roman De Maria. 56 minutes into the match, Marc Maurer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagobert Saluz. Sorens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Maurer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jack Conte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, FC Seitenstecher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Sein to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sorens's Jack Conte got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatus Schmitt in the 67th minute of play forced Sorens's goalkeeper Dagobert Saluz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, FC Seitenstecher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Scilacci to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, FC Seitenstecher's Marc Maurer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagobert Saluz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Luigi Fuchs hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Sorens got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Fuchs. Silvester Bürgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Kefacha, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Maurer in the 81st minute of play forced Sorens's goalkeeper Dagobert Saluz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Maurer scored 5-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagobert Saluz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes, Hannes Schmitt made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sorens's Dagobert Saluz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dagobert Saluz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Scilacci, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc Maurer in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagobert Saluz saved Sorens from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Seitenstecher had played much better football throughout.
