Roth Sommer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Wertscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dagobert Saluz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ticino Patriots's Justo Jerano. But to his dismay, Justo Jerano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Roth Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Kefacha in the 26th minute of the match. Kauã Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Wertscher in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roth Sommer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Wertscher in the 38th minute of play forced Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traian Platon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Ticino Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Tizian Zimmermann. After having played for 43 minutes, Cesário Lemos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesário Lemos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Adriano Wertscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roth Sommer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Ticino Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Traian Platon.

After a rather tough play, Ticino Patriots's Mike Robert got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Muhammad Kefacha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Roth Sommer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roth Sommer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesário Lemos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauã Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagobert Saluz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Conte in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Jack Conte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roth Sommer. Jack Conte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 64 minutes of play, Sorens's Jack Conte made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roth Sommer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, Ticino Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Robert to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sorens booed when Ticino Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Robert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ticino Patriots from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Justo Jerano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Teo Vincx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ticino Patriots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Vincx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagobert Saluz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Jerano in the 86th minute of the match. Roth Sommer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Kefacha, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ticino Patriots's Tizian Zimmermann got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
