Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gus Tanner took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bottens's goalkeeper Arndt Tittone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Eichenwies's Hugo Wennersten got control of the ball when Beltrame Arnold tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Gus Tanner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arndt Tittone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arndt Tittone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Tanner in the 13th minute of the match. Arndt Tittone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Tanner in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulric Laforge during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, one of Bottens:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bottens. The referee gave FC Eichenwies a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ozan Koc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bottens's Arndt Tittone. 0-3. Dominik Bernuzzi charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Bernuzzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bottens booed when FC Eichenwies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Bernuzzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gus Tanner came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Eichenwies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gus Tanner couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, FC Eichenwies's Gus Tanner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arndt Tittone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Charles Zacchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Wennersten having to interfere. Darius Eberhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Wennersten having to interfere. When Karl Bleyer fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bottens's protests and gave Karl Bleyer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bottens getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Karl Bleyer hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, FC Eichenwies's Gus Tanner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arndt Tittone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The Bottens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Eichenwies were winning 0-5.
The wind increased when Charles Zacchia made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Tanner in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arndt Tittone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gus Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Bottens's Beltrame Arnold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Wennersten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Bottens's goalkeeper Arndt Tittone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gus Tanner. If Gus Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Bottens's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gus Tanner fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Bottens's Ulric Laforge seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulric Laforge the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bottens protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulric Laforge had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Bottens:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Eichenwies:s goal. The goalkeeper, Arndt Tittone, was totally fooled by FC Eichenwies's Ozan Koc, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gus Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Bottens got a freekick which was hit by Charles Zacchia. Bottens's Arndt Tittone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Rösli in the 89th minute of play. Gus Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Gus Tanner notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Bottens's Arndt Tittone. Arndt Tittone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Eberhart in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over FC Eichenwies could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bottens throughout the match.
