When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Nigel Andermatt sped through Bottens's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arndt Tittone. Philippe Stocker scored 5-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arndt Tittone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
