The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ferris Stock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bunda Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 7th minute of play forced SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Bunda Grande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Frasier Huber took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kiran Tomasini to make any attempt to save it. After 28 played minutes SalentoUnited got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Ciprella. Francisco Mino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bunda Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE ROKERY PIMKIS. After some careless play in the SalentoUnited defense, Jorge Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bunda Grande. The SalentoUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bunda Grande should have stopped the shot. Bunda Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Atauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Bunda Grande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Atauri went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Howard Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on THE ROKERY PIMKIS's corner Alessandro Finotti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bunda Grande quite easily take care of the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Alessandro Finotti led 46 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frasier Huber to make the kick off. SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakiv Revut in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match THE ROKERY PIMKIS got a corner. SalentoUnited's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Finotti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yakiv Revut was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 61st match minute, SalentoUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Ciprella to maneuver through the defense. SalentoUnited made a substitution. Pawel Gotfryd replaced Urbano Hotz. A collision led to SalentoUnited getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fidel Ciprella hit a great ball. Francisco Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bunda Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bunda Grande made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jorge Luna sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Jorge Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bunda Grande. In the 82nd minute of the game Hardy Zingg made a throw-in which Ferris Stock played forward. Bunda Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jorge Luna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Bunda Grande when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Frasier Huber fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SalentoUnited's protests and gave Frasier Huber a yellow card for diving instead. Frasier Huber hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Francisco Mino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Luna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Huber in the 96th minute of play.
