FC Wil 1900's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio De Luca in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 16th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fergus Maina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emery Heller in the 20th minute. If Patricius Lafranchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Pryor in the 27th minute of the match. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on FC Wil 1900's corner Tory Pryor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fergus Maina quite easily take care of the ball. Tory Pryor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fergus Maina firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Ämmer Sportfreaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Moczkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gutierre Lauri took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lionel Paly. Lionel Paly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tory Pryor was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Zollinger. Gutierre Lauri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. After 54 minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emilio De Luca who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Téo Rosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fergus Maina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Gutierre Lauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Wil 1900 from getting a goal against them. Téo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Wil 1900 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
