The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Gaudencio Lekubegi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute Irwin Monney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Lepucki stood somewhat misplaced when Irwin Monney came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 7 minute. 11 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sepp Mainville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Monney came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LavAzzA booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Traugott didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Lepucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Herz in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Serge Tomasini. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki got control of the ball when Gilles Clerc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sepp Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 29th minute of the match. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Herz in the 32nd minute of play. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Bieber during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bieber to maneuver through the defense. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 37th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Jonas Herz in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. LavAzzA were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Zelg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Labarra took the corner. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LavAzzA were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Zelg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Labarra took the corner. The corner led LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra to fire away a dangerous shot which Sepp Mainville despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Zelg FC defense, Gaudencio Lekubegi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sepp Mainville. The Zelg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sepp Mainville should have stopped the shot.

Gilles Clerc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iwan Lepucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Bieber hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 57th minute of play. LavAzzA were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Zelg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Labarra took the corner. LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sepp Mainville in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute LavAzzA were awarded a corner. Amerigo Labarra went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonas Herz scored 2-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Lepucki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sepp Mainville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaudencio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LavAzzA made a substitution. Gilbert Amsler replaced Di Ao Shi. LavAzzA made a substitution. Gauthier Spiller replaced Adam Vase. 76 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Lekubegi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sepp Mainville came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaudencio Lekubegi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 85th minute. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 91st minute of play. Ingar Holden's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingar Holden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Ingar Holden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
