In the 8th minute of the match FC Wil 1900 got a corner. 1. FC Union Weberei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio De Luca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of 1. FC Union Weberei's goalie and right to Emery Heller. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. 1. FC Union Weberei's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tory Pryor in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heiner Studer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tory Pryor in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiner Studer saved 1. FC Union Weberei from getting behind. When FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1. FC Union Weberei's goalie prevented a goal. Heiner Studer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Wil 1900 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Nico Gruenewald elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Union Weberei's goal looked a bit too open when Tory Pryor came free, but Heiner Studer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Pryor in the 35th minute of play. Heiner Studer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tory Pryor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 36 minute of play. After 42 played minutes 1. FC Union Weberei got a freekick which was hit by Louie Anderjoli. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Union Weberei from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Tory Pryor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Heiner Studer. Tory Pryor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tory Pryor made a kick off. Heiner Studer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory Pryor's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Nino Forster got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 67 played minutes 1. FC Union Weberei got a freekick which was hit by Nino Forster. When FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Pirmin Jäggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tory Pryor in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiner Studer saved 1. FC Union Weberei from getting behind. Heiner Studer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Pryor in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Téo Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiner Studer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly got control of the ball when Casimir Wickihalter tried to sneak it across the goal line.
