The Frankeberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lombise were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seppe Van Espen to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lombise booed when Frankeberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedric De Keuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Frankeberg's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Balckmans came free, but Raf Francx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles-Louis Postens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Hemelaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Raf Francx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc Moons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raf Francx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Tijs in the 66th minute of the match. Raf Francx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stijn Tijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Seppe Van Espen came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Frankeberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seppe Van Espen couldn't finish the play.
