Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toon Verheyden got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Toon Verheyden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marnix Van Linthoud. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Club Brussel's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Thielens came free, but Mathis De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geert-Jan De Geutter during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Passendale booed when Club Brussel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert-Jan De Geutter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Passendale's Lou Rombouts tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Club Brussel's Remi Schepens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marnix Van Linthoud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marnix Van Linthoud was a little too slow when Toon Verheyden got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Toon Verheyden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marnix Van Linthoud having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Richmond Van Balen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cedrik Huybreghts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathis De Wyngaert was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Club Brussel's Richmond Van Balen got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Passendale booed when Club Brussel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Uyterhelcht didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Club Brussel's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Thielens came free, but Mathis De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Jorre Maenhout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brussel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passendale the free kick. Jorre Maenhout kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cedrik Huybreghts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathis De Wyngaert having to interfere. In the 35th minute Peter-Jan Thielens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathis De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Club Brussel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richmond Van Balen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toon Verheyden in the 39th minute of play forced Passendale's goalkeeper Marnix Van Linthoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Passendale's Marnix Van Linthoud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Passendale from getting a goal against them. Toon Verheyden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marnix Van Linthoud having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter-Jan Thielens to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Remi Schepens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marnix Van Linthoud. Passendale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remi Schepens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mathis De Wyngaert came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Passendale's Cedrik Huybreghts. But to his dismay, Cedrik Huybreghts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 65 minutes into the match, Club Brussel's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Thielens came free, but Mathis De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toon Verheyden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marnix Van Linthoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marnix Van Linthoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Verheyden in the 78th minute of play. Remi Schepens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marnix Van Linthoud having to interfere. If Cedrik Huybreghts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marnix Van Linthoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Verheyden in the 88th minute of play. Remi Schepens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marnix Van Linthoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Remi Schepens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Brussel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remi Schepens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
