In the 19th minute Charles-Louis Clijsters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Ciocârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prokopis Konstantinou charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prokopis Konstantinou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, one of Real Saltamontes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Saltamontes. Tomas De Cat shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Real Saltamontes getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rudi Van Haght hit a great ball. Edmond Jannis might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sander Tuerlinckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmond Jannis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Real Saltamontes's Edmond Jannis in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Real Saltamontes's Ye Xiao Yi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmond Jannis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Sander Tuerlinckx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Real Saltamontes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Termes throughout the match.
