After a defensive mix-up in Soup-A-Stars's zone, Claude Maenhout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Koninkx came out of the goal and Claude Maenhout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Koninkx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staf Van der Veeken in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Caput Bovis's Staf Van der Veeken made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Koninkx was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Soup-A-Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
