Tomm Gallot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wouter Latomme. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Van Laeck in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martial Beeckmans saved Londerzeel from getting behind. Maarten De Clercq recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Van Laeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Roy Widdepenninck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Maarten De Clercq managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maaseik's supporters rose to their feet, but Maarten De Clercq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Beeckmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maaseik's Martin Van Laeck got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dean Steckens might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martial Beeckmans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean Steckens ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Londerzeel's Bruno Louis got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Joey Jannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 63 in the game by Martin Van Laeck from a close distance when the talented Martial Beeckmans managed to make a qualified save. Londerzeel's players were relieved. The Martial Beeckmans was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Roy Widdepenninck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Londerzeel getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bruno Louis hit a great ball. Martin Van Laeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Van Laeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martial Beeckmans having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Henri-Patrick De Ridder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
