Julius Nelleboedske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Peters in the 5th minute of play. Julius Nelleboedske showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Peters in the 9th minute of the match. When KVM2008's Nicolas Slegers in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Comines-Warneton's goalie prevented a goal. Yanne Custermans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Slegers's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, KVM2008's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Peters came free, but Julius Nelleboedske reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Comines-Warneton got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Van Castel. After a defensive mix-up in Comines-Warneton's zone, Angelo Kant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanne Custermans came out of the goal and Angelo Kant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Slegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Yanne Custermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, KVM2008's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Peters came free, but Julius Nelleboedske reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nicolas Slegers fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KVM2008's protests and gave Nicolas Slegers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute Nicolas Slegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanne Custermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanne Custermans came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by KVM2008's Nicolas Slegers. But to his dismay, Nicolas Slegers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 39 minutes, Fernand Lanckneus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVM2008 and the Comines-Warneton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes KVM2008 got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Lanckneus. If Andreas Peters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willem-Alexander Bastin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Slegers was the one to do the kick off. Yanne Custermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Slegers, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Comines-Warneton's goal looked a bit too open when Amaury Du Molin came free, but Yanne Custermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Peters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nelleboedske having to interfere. Willem-Alexander Bastin might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Nelleboedske. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willem-Alexander Bastin ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Peters got in the 63rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julius Nelleboedske handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Slegers in the 66th minute of play forced Comines-Warneton's goalkeeper Yanne Custermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Phillipe Schrijns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KVM2008's Angelo Kant couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Comines-Warneton. A collision led to KVM2008 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fernand Lanckneus hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Comines-Warneton's Willem-Alexander Bastin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Nelleboedske narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Comines-Warneton's Willem-Alexander Bastin got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julius Nelleboedske showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Bastin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Andreas Peters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Nelleboedske saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
