Reinard Van Meerbeec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Vermeesch in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Kluisbergen got a freekick which was hit by Christoff Terhorst. The audience was convinced that Richmond Stevens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinard Van Meerbeec was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kristiaan Schellekens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricky Emeleers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Owerckx in the 37th minute of the match. Kluisbergen's Kristiaan Schellekens got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richmond Stevens made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorg Van de Putt got free with Ricky Emeleers in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaud Heremans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ricky Emeleers made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Ringorians's goalkeeper Ricky Emeleers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristiaan Schellekens. Fredrik Vermeesch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinard Van Meerbeec having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Richmond Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kristiaan Schellekens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricky Emeleers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Kluisbergen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
