The corner ended in Michiel Geest almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bilzen Youth Academy's Paulus Van Looy did a great save. 30 minutes into the match, VC Lizerne's goal looked a bit too open when Anthonio Van Houdtvin came free, but Johnny Bastin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulus Van Looy, 2-0. Paulus Van Looy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Focquier in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, VC Lizerne's Walter Verschelde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulus Van Looy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel made the kick off in the second half. Anthonio Van Houdtvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulus Van Looy saved Bilzen Youth Academy from getting behind. Paulus Van Looy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of VC Lizerne booed when Bilzen Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lieven Tailleur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Walter Verschelde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulus Van Looy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilzen Youth Academy's Paulus Van Looy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Verschelde in the 87th minute of play. Paulus Van Looy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Verschelde in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bilzen Youth Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VC Lizerne.
