In the 8th minute of the match, Freek Quinet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Albertus Bouman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Freek Quinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Albertus Bouman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, vg-boys's Artuur De Vlaeminck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenn Lanckneus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kenn Lanckneus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgen Rouvroye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artuur De Vlaeminck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenn Lanckneus having to interfere. If Danny Ruttens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artuur De Vlaeminck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave vg-boys a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kobe Baekelandt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arianna's Kenn Lanckneus. 0-2. In the 39th minute, Freek Quinet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guust Van Eynde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenn Lanckneus having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Arianna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matteo Keuppens to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Artuur De Vlaeminck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. vg-boys's Jurgen Rouvroye got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Jurgen Rouvroye fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 65 minutes into the match, vg-boys's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Gyselinck came free, but Albertus Bouman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Arianna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Huysmans to maneuver through the defense. vg-boys were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Arianna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kobe Baekelandt took the corner. Julius Wortelers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kenn Lanckneus firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Gyselinck during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Arianna's Kenn Lanckneus got control of the ball when Artuur De Vlaeminck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Danny Ruttens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertus Bouman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Freek Quinet struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Albertus Bouman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arianna. In the 94th minute, Freek Quinet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertus Bouman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen Rouvroye in the 97th minute of play forced Arianna's goalkeeper Kenn Lanckneus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The vg-boys players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arianna from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
