An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Van Hoeijveldt in the 14th minute of play forced Arianna's goalkeeper Kenn Lanckneus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Arianna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Warisoulx:s goal. 25 minutes into the match, Robby Weynants notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Arianna's Kenn Lanckneus. Kenn Lanckneus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicky Gyselinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nic Villyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Freek Quinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenn Lanckneus made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rik Gyselinckx sent off a good shot on target. Freek Quinet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Sebastien Huysmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, SK Warisoulx's Nic Villyn got control of the ball when Freek Quinet tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Freek Quinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freek Quinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nic Villyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Gyselinckx in the 86th minute of play forced Arianna's goalkeeper Kenn Lanckneus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SK Warisoulx booed when Arianna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Fossaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rik Gyselinckx came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SK Warisoulx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rik Gyselinckx couldn't finish the play. SK Warisoulx's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
