After a defensive mix-up in Club Djeep's zone, Raymond Van Hecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Elens came out of the goal and Raymond Van Hecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Elens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Van Hecke, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kenney Lanphant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Elens having to interfere. Gwenn Depauw's late challenge caught a VC Tginee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwenn Depauw helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Gwenn Depauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VC Tginee's Steffen Vanderhaege proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save VC Tginee from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Club Djeep's Gwenn Depauw got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Kenney Lanphant came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VC Tginee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenney Lanphant couldn't finish the play. Club Djeep's Manuel Elens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Van Hecke in the 46th minute of play. If Raymond Van Hecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantijn Horemans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Djeep's Gwenn Depauw got a free kick in the 60th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when VC Tginee's Raymond Van Hecke in the 63rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Manuel Elens was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Djeep through an amazing save. In the 67thth minute of the game Raymond Van Hecke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Djeep's Manuel Elens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenney Lanphant got free with Manuel Elens in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Djeep's Manuel Elens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Club Djeep from getting a goal against them. Gert Winnepenninck's late challenge caught a VC Tginee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenney Lanphant got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Manuel Elens handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
