The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Yelle van Eijnde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Izier's Augustijn Reijckmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augustijn Reijckmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yelle van Eijnde in the 6th minute of the match. If Yelle van Eijnde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th play minute Gilbert Van hoegaerde came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Augustijn Reijckmans. 1-0. Augustijn Reijckmans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yelle van Eijnde in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes RSC Izier got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Van Hoovelt. The long shot by Níels Dewulf in the 18th minute really tested Augustijn Reijckmans's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nicolaas Godet struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jeremey Van de Leest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Izier. Gilbert Van hoegaerde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Augustijn Reijckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes RSC Izier got a freekick which was hit by Jorne Gyselinckx. 37 minutes into the match, FC Kreomara's Níels Dewulf broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Marnix Callaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Izier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marnix Callaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yelle van Eijnde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustijn Reijckmans having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yelle van Eijnde to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Van hoegaerde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustijn Reijckmans was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. RSC Izier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Yelle van Eijnde struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Augustijn Reijckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kreomara. In the 80th minute, Edwin Van Lueven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gilbert Van hoegaerde sped through RSC Izier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augustijn Reijckmans. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gilbert Van hoegaerde managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kreomara's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Van hoegaerde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustijn Reijckmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yelle van Eijnde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, RSC Izier's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Van hoegaerde came free, but Augustijn Reijckmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
