The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsene Borglevens during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arsene Borglevens hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Pierre-Olivier De Clercq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Langendonck having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Kapelhoek's goalkeeper Johan De Hond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobias Decoster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Johan De Hond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan De Hond was a little too slow when Tobias Decoster got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Club Kapelhoek's Jacque Colebinders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Langendonck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johan De Hond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Decoster in the 37th minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier De Clercq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pierre-Olivier De Clercq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Langendonck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Olivier De Clercq, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Yanis Borglevens kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tobias Decoster made the kick off in the second half. If Tobias Decoster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Jan-Simon Deschrijver elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Tobias Decoster came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mutshagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Decoster couldn't finish the play. If Jacque Colebinders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan De Hond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Decoster, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Club Kapelhoek defense, Tobias Decoster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan De Hond. The Club Kapelhoek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan De Hond should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Reinaud de Pelsmaeker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mutshagen's Jeff Coenens couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Kapelhoek. Pierre-Olivier De Clercq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Quentin Langendonck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacque Colebinders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaud de Pelsmaeker got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 82 played minutes Club Kapelhoek got a freekick which was hit by Reinaud de Pelsmaeker. After having played for 83 minutes, Jan-Simon Deschrijver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mutshagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Simon Deschrijver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johan De Hond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Decoster went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Claude De Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Pierre-Olivier De Clercq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Kapelhoek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mutshagen.
