With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis-Philippe Van De Velden in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolaas Denturck saved Wipelgem from getting behind. Nicolaas Denturck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Reijers, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Henrik Reijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajmond Winnepennincx might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joos Van Severen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rajmond Winnepennincx ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Wipelgem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrik Reijers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis-Philippe Van De Velden got free with Nicolaas Denturck in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wipelgem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute, Louis-Philippe Van De Velden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alster's Joos Van Severen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajmond Winnepennincx in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yelle Vissenaeken in the 87th minute of play forced Alster's goalkeeper Joos Van Severen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joos Van Severen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yelle Vissenaeken in the 89th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Yelle Vissenaeken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 100 minutes, Rajmond Winnepennincx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wipelgem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rajmond Winnepennincx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alster had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
