Geoffry Niewens started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bad Beat United booed when F.C. Zegelsem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bavo Rutgeerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Geoffry Niewens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute Frits Renso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Van der Poorten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Peter Justens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Zegelsem and the Bad Beat United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C. Zegelsem's Peter Justens got a free kick in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bad Beat United's William Vos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Zegelsem's zone, Geoffry Niewens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillipe Van der Poorten came out of the goal and Geoffry Niewens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Levi Terwenhout came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the F.C. Zegelsem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Terwenhout couldn't finish the play. Levi Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Degens having to interfere. Georges-Philippe Degens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. F.C. Zegelsem's Phillipe Van der Poorten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Renso in the 32nd minute of play. Georges-Philippe Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Pierre-Alexandre Van Haerschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Levi Terwenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Zegelsem's supporters rose to their feet, but Levi Terwenhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georges-Philippe Degens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 42 minutes, Martial De Wortelaer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bad Beat United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial De Wortelaer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bad Beat United's Geoffry Niewens got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bad Beat United's goal looked a bit too open when Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele came free, but Georges-Philippe Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levi Terwenhout scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georges-Philippe Degens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bad Beat United fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Bad Beat United's Geoffry Niewens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Georges-Philippe Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Justens kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Georges-Philippe Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Terwenhout in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of F.C. Zegelsem booed when Bad Beat United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial De Wortelaer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georges-Philippe Degens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Levi Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Degens having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Bad Beat United's goal looked a bit too open when Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele came free, but Georges-Philippe Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. Zegelsem's Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
