After 25 played minutes Bad Beat United got a freekick which was hit by William Vos. Georges-Philippe Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwenn Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Wollans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remie Sielens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frits Renso in the 40th minute. Georges-Philippe Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Wollans in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geoffry Niewens to make the kick off. A collision led to Bertrix getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Leo Van Den Bosch hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Frits Renso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Sielens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits Renso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Remie Sielens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwenn Ooms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Degens having to interfere. Bertrix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Steffe Bernardts in the 99th minute. 100 minutes into the match, Bad Beat United's goalkeeper Georges-Philippe Degens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwenn Ooms. Bad Beat United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
