Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alek Nelis started the match with the kick off. Romain De Mees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Waegemans in the 4th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Stockroye's Alek Nelis in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dany-Adams Declercq was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ledeberg through an amazing save. Tommas Gobbelijns kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Alek Nelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Vanbuyten struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Romain De Mees didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ledeberg. 14 minutes into the game, Kasper Van Looy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ledeberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockroye the free kick. Tomas Deman's late challenge caught a Ledeberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Deman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stockroye getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomas Deman hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play, Ledeberg's Julius Vanbuyten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romain De Mees was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alek Nelis in the 24th minute of play forced Ledeberg's goalkeeper Dany-Adams Declercq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Julius Vanbuyten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledeberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius Vanbuyten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stockroye's Romain De Mees played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Waegemans in the 27th minute of play. Romain De Mees showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Waegemans in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Julius Vanbuyten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ledeberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Vanbuyten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romain De Mees breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alek Nelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dany-Adams Declercq having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Jos Van de Schrieck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledeberg and the Stockroye players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ledeberg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jos Van de Schrieck hit a great ball. Alek Nelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dany-Adams Declercq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alek Nelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ledeberg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Romain De Mees tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julius Vanbuyten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Alek Nelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dany-Adams Declercq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alek Nelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Heirremans in the 84th minute of play forced Ledeberg's goalkeeper Dany-Adams Declercq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ledeberg booed when Stockroye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rajmond Rosbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ledeberg's Kasper Van Looy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stockroye. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Nick Waegemans put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Romain De Mees. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ledeberg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
