Wendelghem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joery Machiels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thierry Kerstens got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th match minute, SK Vaul-Chavanne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Kerstens to maneuver through the defense. Gust Everts hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jeremey Cuppens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2.
