Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Van Eede kicked off to start the match. Jean-Louis Philippaerts came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Axel's Joos Vandommele. But to his dismay, Joos Vandommele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Gerard Roockeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Philippaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Louis Philippaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stef De Jonghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joos Vandommele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Louis Philippaerts having to interfere. Renzo Claes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. RSCA 4-ever's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joos Vandommele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Adolf Klaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Louis Philippaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Chris-George Jaddon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Armand De Marrez sent off a good shot on target. When Peter Van Eede fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSCA 4-ever's protests and gave Peter Van Eede a yellow card for diving instead. Olliver De Langhe kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jean-Louis Philippaerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Roockeloos went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Jean-Louis Philippaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Roockeloos in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind RSCA 4-ever's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Philippaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon De Strijcker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Louis Philippaerts having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stef De Jonghe to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gerard Roockeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Louis Philippaerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stef De Jonghe's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 58 minutes, Matias Gyselinx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSCA 4-ever and the FC Axel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, RSCA 4-ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Gyselinx to maneuver through the defense. Ramon De Strijcker's shot from long distance in the 59th minute was not bad at all, but RSCA 4-ever's Jean-Louis Philippaerts knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Joos Vandommele put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Louis Philippaerts. In the 63rd minute, Joos Vandommele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Louis Philippaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Roockeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Louis Philippaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joos Vandommele in the 69th minute of play. If Stef De Jonghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Matias Gyselinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gerard Roockeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Axel's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Roockeloos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Louis Philippaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stef De Jonghe struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jean-Louis Philippaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Axel. Dean Van Meensel scored 0-8 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Louis Philippaerts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Joos Vandommele dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jean-Louis Philippaerts, 0-10. Gerard Roockeloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Louis Philippaerts having to interfere. FC Axel played a much better game than RSCA 4-ever and deserved their victory. The RSCA 4-ever players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
