Achilles Lijsens started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Wambeke's Kim Naessens got control of the ball when Geoffrey Weggers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wambeke's Antoine Coveliers got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Kim Naessens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Achilles Lijsens struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cesar Selleslags didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambeke. Cesar Selleslags showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Coveliers in the 19th minute of the match. Achilles Lijsens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Selleslags read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Weggers in the 21st minute of play forced Wambeke's goalkeeper Kim Naessens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to R.R.C Etterbeek getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hendrik Neels hit a great ball. Antoine Coveliers struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cesar Selleslags didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambeke. The audience was convinced that Achilles Lijsens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesar Selleslags was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Joannes Enskens hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olliver De Meijer made a kick off. A collision led to Wambeke getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bart Deroek hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Hendrik Focquier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Achilles Lijsens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of R.R.C Etterbeek booed when Wambeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Focquier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthy Heremans charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthy Heremans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthy Heremans hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Wambeke's goal looked a bit too open when Olliver De Meijer came free, but Kim Naessens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cederik Jonckheere hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Olliver De Meijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. R.R.C Etterbeek's Cesar Selleslags proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save R.R.C Etterbeek from getting a goal against them. Geoffrey Weggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Selleslags made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Coveliers in the 95th minute of play. Wambeke's Matthy Heremans got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Matthy Heremans off the ground. Matthy Heremans kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
