Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Etienne Smoors kicked off to start the match. Jeffery Valkeneers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Etienne Smoors went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 6th minute Willem-Alexander Stuckens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffery Valkeneers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeffery Valkeneers came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by VV Deurne's Etienne Smoors. But to his dismay, Etienne Smoors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of VV Deurne booed when Wakkerzeel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quillian Vranken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffery Valkeneers came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by VV Deurne's Etienne Smoors. But to his dismay, Etienne Smoors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in VV Deurne's zone, Francis Keldermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp Matthieu came out of the goal and Francis Keldermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Fredrik Verheyden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willem-Alexander Stuckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Etienne Smoors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffery Valkeneers having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play Wakkerzeel's Fredrik Verheyden was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 25th minute, Fredrik Verheyden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Johannes Sanders mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wakkerzeel and the VV Deurne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johannes Sanders kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, VV Deurne's Sem Cockaerts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeffery Valkeneers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VV Deurne reached it. Jeffery Valkeneers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etienne Smoors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Wakkerzeel defense, Willem-Alexander Stuckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeffery Valkeneers. The Wakkerzeel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeffery Valkeneers should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, VV Deurne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederik Caes to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Antoine Coenen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francis Keldermans made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wakkerzeel's goalkeeper Jeffery Valkeneers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willem-Alexander Stuckens. Ben Sannen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Sannen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wakkerzeel's Ben Sannen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Wakkerzeel's Jeffery Valkeneers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Wakkerzeel from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Ben Sannen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Van Beets hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Wakkerzeel's Thibau Deckers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philipp Matthieu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wakkerzeel reached it. VV Deurne's Cederik Caes got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Cederik Caes off the ground. In the 67th match minute, VV Deurne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederik Caes to maneuver through the defense. The Wakkerzeel fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Wakkerzeel's Francis Keldermans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 82 in the game by Etienne Smoors from a close distance when the talented Jeffery Valkeneers managed to make a qualified save. Wakkerzeel's players were relieved. Willem-Alexander Stuckens let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 92nd minute shot 1-5 at rihgt post. In the 95th minute, Ben Sannen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The VV Deurne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VV Deurne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
