Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fransesco Weynants took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Mathieux Raeimakers made a precise shot to the right of Arnaud Roussel. FC Diest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gunther Gressens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kasper Degryse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Michel Claevers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Degryse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunther Gressens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Diest getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gerard Spoelberch hit a great ball. Kasper Degryse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Claevers in the 25th minute of the match. Michel Claevers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunther Gressens in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasper Degryse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathieux Raeimakers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaud Roussel having to make a save. If Fransesco Weynants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When Fransesco Weynants came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the The Bleu Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fransesco Weynants couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Diest's Siebe Goens got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mathieux Raeimakers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaud Roussel having to interfere. Fransesco Weynants scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaud Roussel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Diest getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gerard Spoelberch hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Claevers got free with Kasper Degryse in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dries Latomme charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dries Latomme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Dries Latomme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bleu Dream Team's Fransesco Weynants got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Bleu Dream Team had won after a very even match.
