Kasper Degryse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Goovaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind The Bleu Dream Team's goalkeeper Kasper Degryse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Royal Union Auderghem's Giovanny Gillekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fransesco Weynants in the 33rd minute of play. When Mathieux Raeimakers came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the The Bleu Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieux Raeimakers couldn't finish the play. Fransesco Weynants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathieux Raeimakers might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanny Gillekens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fransesco Weynants was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to The Bleu Dream Team getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hector De Geyter hit a great ball. Mathieux Raeimakers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanny Gillekens having to interfere. In the 69th minute Pierre Goovaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Degryse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanny Gillekens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fransesco Weynants showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play.
