AFC Bellegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niel Bruyninckx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Bellegem's zone, Rein Van Dongel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joerie Sneijers came out of the goal and Rein Van Dongel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesse Staes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tjorven Baele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Oswald Martens's late challenge caught a AFC Bellegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswald Martens helped the player get up and apologised. Oswald Martens kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Niel Bruyninckx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Bellegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Wilbrin's goalkeeper Tjorven Baele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rein Van Dongel missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 76 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Joerie Sneijers right hand side. Joerie Sneijers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Martens, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes AFC Bellegem got a freekick which was hit by Gery Van Langhendoncx. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rein De Malier during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SK Wilbrin getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rein De Malier hit a great ball. Rein Van Dongel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jesse Staes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Bellegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesse Staes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tjorven Baele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SK Wilbrin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Bellegem's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Bellegem.
