Herman Lingier had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Christof Van Craen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Herman Lingier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refael Schoenmaekers in the 21st minute of the match. Gunther Van Vyve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Charles-Louis Van der Meiren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Herman Lingier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan De Wever could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Sebastian De Geutter made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, FC Lommelse Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneel Carels to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunther Van Vyve in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Lingier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan De Wever could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sebastian De Geutter made a huge save. Herman Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lieven De Peuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Herman Lingier came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Haillot's Refael Schoenmaekers. But to his dismay, Refael Schoenmaekers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half KFC Haillot were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 97 minutes of play, KFC Haillot's Refael Schoenmaekers made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Lingier was left in no man's land by his defense there!
