Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ward Van Haeght started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, FC Lommelse Azul's goalkeeper Herman Lingier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Moens. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Lommelse Azul! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Van Haeght in the 14th minute of play forced FC Lommelse Azul's goalkeeper Herman Lingier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Lingier came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by rsc Vilvo's Lucas Moens. But to his dismay, Lucas Moens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC Lommelse Azul's Herman Lingier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Van Haeght in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Pierre Rijmenans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurus Tilemans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, FC Lommelse Azul's goalkeeper Herman Lingier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Moens. Pierre Rijmenans hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. FC Lommelse Azul's Herman Lingier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Van Haeght in the 36th minute of play. Herman Lingier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Moens in the 37th minute. Balthazar De Leger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herman Lingier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Moens in the 40th minute. If Ward Van Haeght had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Rijmenans made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dan De Wever notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of rsc Vilvo's Maurus Tilemans. Maurus Tilemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pascal Beeckmans scored 3-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herman Lingier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herman Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Buczko, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dan De Wever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Maurus Tilemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Marek Buczko made a precise shot to the right of Herman Lingier. FC Lommelse Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. In the 76th of the match, Pierre Rijmenans tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Maurus Tilemans got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to FC Lommelse Azul getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pierre Rijmenans hit a great ball. Herman Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Van Haeght, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Buczko in the 89th minute of play forced FC Lommelse Azul's goalkeeper Herman Lingier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Lingier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Moens in the 93rd minute of the match. Herman Lingier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Moens in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that rsc Vilvo were the better team. rsc Vilvo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
