The corner led Antwarep's Peter Van Bettenrode to fire away a dangerous shot which Herman Lingier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Corneel Carels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balthazar De Leger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Constantijn Vrijdag came out and tried to block the shot, but Balthazar De Leger slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Lennart Temmerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Temmerman to strike the kick off in the second half. Wesley Melkval hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
