Constantijn Vrijdag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joos Jaddon in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Abrikoos were awarded a corner. Gwenn De Maret went to the cornerflag to take it. Gwenn De Maret made a great header on Abrikoos's corner, it was just that Antwarep's Constantijn Vrijdag managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Antwarep's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Lenoir came free, but Constantijn Vrijdag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Dimitri Sabbe made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Antwarep's goalkeeper Constantijn Vrijdag had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joos Jaddon. The supporters of Abrikoos booed when Antwarep was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Van Bettenrode didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Gwenn De Maret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abrikoos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwenn De Maret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Dimitri Sabbe made a precise shot to the right of Rens Van der Borght. Abrikoos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 67th match minute, Antwarep was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Melkval to maneuver through the defense. Joos Jaddon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantijn Vrijdag having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joos Jaddon got free with Constantijn Vrijdag in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rens Van der Borght showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jilian Cuelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Abrikoos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ramon Lenoir hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Ramon Lenoir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri Sabbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rens Van der Borght tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Werner Van Collenborgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van der Borght having to interfere. Jilian Cuelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Melkval hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Antwarep fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abrikoos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
