The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Levi De Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Van Maestricht in the 5th minute of the match. ROCKSTARS's Levi De Ridder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Van Maestricht in the 13th minute of play. Stein Hacke hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Stein Hacke got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Kortessem booed when ROCKSTARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Hacke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Sebastian Frederickx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florian Van Severen. The goal made the score 1-1. Diederiek Cappels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Levi De Ridder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Vranx charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alain Vranx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kortessem booed when ROCKSTARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alain Vranx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kortessem's zone, Sebastian Frederickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Van Severen came out of the goal and Sebastian Frederickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pieter Van Maestricht to strike the kick off in the second half. Bram Van Dijcke hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Marc Roeland from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Levi De Ridder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sebastian Frederickx struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Florian Van Severen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROCKSTARS. Bram Van Dijcke hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Levi De Ridder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diederiek Cappels in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes ROCKSTARS got a freekick which was hit by Daan Polspoel. Pieter Van Maestricht was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Levi De Ridder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Van Maestricht in the 69th minute of play. Levi De Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Van Maestricht in the 74th minute of the match. Pieter Van Maestricht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pieter Van Maestricht, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Levi De Ridder was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, ROCKSTARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Spoelberghe to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Kortessem got a corner. ROCKSTARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marc Roeland ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ROCKSTARS's goalie and right to Miguel Grootaerts. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ROCKSTARS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Diederiek Cappels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi De Ridder having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Pieter Van Maestricht lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Levi De Ridder. Kortessem's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
