Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Timy Marant made the kick off and thus started the match. 11 minutes into the match, Toverhoek's Harrie Abrams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Van Buyten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, BluB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timy Marant came free, but Eric Van Buyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristen Jaspers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jon Van Wontergem made a huge save. Eric Van Buyten came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Toverhoek's Harrie Abrams. But to his dismay, Harrie Abrams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Harrie Abrams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jon Van Wontergem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richy Roels in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Kristen Jaspers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Van Buyten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harrie Abrams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Richy Roels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Van Wontergem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Richy Roels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BluB FC's Eric Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrie Abrams in the 41st minute of play. Harrie Abrams might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Van Buyten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harrie Abrams ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Richy Roels made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Toverhoek getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Harrie Abrams hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, one of Toverhoek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Toverhoek's Harrie Abrams got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Van Buyten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harrie Abrams in the 73rd minute. When Toverhoek's Timy Marant in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BluB FC's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the match, BluB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harrie Abrams came free, but Eric Van Buyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Van Wontergem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richy Roels in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieter Alaerts during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dieter Alaerts hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Timy Marant struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eric Van Buyten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toverhoek. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Richy Roels managed to get in a good position for a shot. BluB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richy Roels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Van Wontergem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Toverhoek's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Roels came free, but Jon Van Wontergem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Toverhoek's zone, Richy Roels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Van Wontergem came out of the goal and Richy Roels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toverhoek's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
