After having played for 4 minutes, Brent Kesters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVC ROMY pils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Kesters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregoire Sielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Harold Vloebergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Liege's goalkeeper Harold Vloebergh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of BVC ROMY pils booed when Football Club Liege was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander De Vorster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregoire Sielens took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harold Vloebergh. Harold Vloebergh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Brent Kesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Brent Kesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harold Vloebergh was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The BVC ROMY pils fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when BVC ROMY pils's Brent Kesters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gregoire Sielens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Brent Kesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Harold Vloebergh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Harold Vloebergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Kesters in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Van Boekost in the 57th minute of play forced Football Club Liege's goalkeeper Harold Vloebergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lander De Vorster hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Football Club Liege's Harold Vloebergh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Football Club Liege from getting a goal against them. After 68 played minutes Football Club Liege got a freekick which was hit by Robbe De Bougne. Brent Kesters didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 69th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Brent Kesters ran dejectedly back to his position. Harold Vloebergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Kesters in the 71st minute of the match. Gregoire Sielens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 77th minute, Brent Kesters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harold Vloebergh. The goal made the score 0-4. After some careless play in the Football Club Liege defense, Gregoire Sielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold Vloebergh. The Football Club Liege fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold Vloebergh should have stopped the shot. Gregoire Sielens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Harold Vloebergh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Football Club Liege fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BVC ROMY pils were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
