The supporters of The Mean Petes booed when Wandering Rocks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axell Ronsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacky Van Caenegem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Keuppens in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Wandering Rocks's Ruud Keuppens made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacky Van Caenegem was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Ruud Keuppens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wandering Rocks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Mean Petes the free kick. In the 20th minute, Ruud Keuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gill Castermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mean Petes's Jacky Van Caenegem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Keuppens in the 25th minute of play. Jacky Van Caenegem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axell Ronsman in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axell Ronsman in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacky Van Caenegem saved The Mean Petes from getting behind. Wandering Rocks's Franky De Meur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Declerck in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Gill Castermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfried Van Leemput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franky De Meur having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominic Declerck to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Wandering Rocks got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Vanden Berghe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Declerck in the 53rd minute of play forced Wandering Rocks's goalkeeper Franky De Meur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes of play, The Mean Petes's Dominic Declerck made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franky De Meur was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wandering Rocks's goalkeeper Franky De Meur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gill Castermans sped through Wandering Rocks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franky De Meur. After 65 minutes of play, Wandering Rocks's Ruud Keuppens made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacky Van Caenegem was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes, Wilfried Van Leemput mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Mean Petes and the Wandering Rocks players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Axell Ronsman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Wandering Rocks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axell Ronsman couldn't finish the play. After having played for 73 minutes, Axell Ronsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wandering Rocks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axell Ronsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wandering Rocks's attack was well implemented in the 75th minute, but when Axell Ronsman was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Jacky Van Caenegem made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Axell Ronsman sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Wandering Rocks's Isaac Steuckens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacky Van Caenegem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Ruud Keuppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacky Van Caenegem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mean Petes's Jacky Van Caenegem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save The Mean Petes from getting a goal against them. When Isaac Steuckens fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wandering Rocks's protests and gave Isaac Steuckens a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Wandering Rocks got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Steuckens. A hard shot 95 in the game by Axell Ronsman from a close distance when the talented Jacky Van Caenegem managed to make a qualified save. The Mean Petes's players were relieved. Wandering Rocks were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
