Spectators: 7874 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Peter Bormans made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the game, Tran Bernaerts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Wyfliets. Tran Bernaerts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Four Roses's Aime Verhaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Wyfliets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aime Verhaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alexandre Wyfliets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Bormans struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ahmet Nedim İlker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Forges. When Timothy Vanden Driessche came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Four Roses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy Vanden Driessche couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Aime Verhaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Four Roses's supporters rose to their feet, but Aime Verhaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Wyfliets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th play minute Timothy Vanden Driessche came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexandre Wyfliets. 4-0. After a rather tough play, KVSK Forges's Robbin Wiechgers got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes, Martial Stercks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVSK Forges and the Four Roses players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes KVSK Forges got a freekick which was hit by Martial Stercks. After 42 minutes of play, Four Roses's Timothy Vanden Driessche made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Wyfliets was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timothy Vanden Driessche was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Vanden Driessche in the 52nd minute of play forced KVSK Forges's goalkeeper Alexandre Wyfliets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of KVSK Forges booed when Four Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tran Bernaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Peter Bormans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Nedim İlker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind KVSK Forges's goalkeeper Alexandre Wyfliets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre Wyfliets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aime Verhaert in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Four Roses booed when KVSK Forges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis-Philippe Gilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Timothy Vanden Driessche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Four Roses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 74 minutes into the match, Timothy Vanden Driessche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Wyfliets. KVSK Forges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Vanden Driessche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Aime Verhaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Fabrice Volckaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Four Roses walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
