Alexandre Wyfliets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Uytdebroeck in the 14th minute. Alexandre Wyfliets had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stephan Van Den Haecke from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Andy Uytdebroeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Alexandre Wyfliets made a huge save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Peter Bormans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Michael Maerschalck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martial Stercks hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, KVSK Forges's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Verheyen came free, but Alexandre Wyfliets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Andy Uytdebroeck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Wyfliets, 1-0. After a rather tough play, KVSK Forges's Louis-Philippe Gilis got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Gert Verheyen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KVSK Forges's Alexandre Wyfliets didn't even have to move. KVSK Forges's Alexandre Wyfliets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save KVSK Forges from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Wyfliets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Peter Bormans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Louis-Philippe Gilis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alexandre Wyfliets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Uytdebroeck in the 56th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Louis-Philippe Gilis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVSK Forges and the Fc Oxford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, KVSK Forges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis-Philippe Gilis to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, KVSK Forges's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Uytdebroeck came free, but Alexandre Wyfliets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Wyfliets didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephan Van Den Haecke went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens got control of the ball when Peter Bormans tried to sneak it across the goal line. KVSK Forges's Alexandre Wyfliets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Uytdebroeck in the 87th minute of play. Alexandre Wyfliets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Uytdebroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes in the game, Peter Bormans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steffen Kortens having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Oxford had won after a very even match.
