Spectators: 6946 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 100) In the 4th minute, Garry De Schutter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KV Ertvelde's Andries Cantillon got a free kick in the 6th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Gert Verheyen led 7 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. KV Ertvelde's Sven den Pelsmaeker became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Andy Uytdebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven den Pelsmaeker having to interfere. Sven den Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fc Oxford's Kenney Stuckers got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Oxford's zone, Dan Klaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Kortens came out of the goal and Dan Klaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When KV Ertvelde's Cesar Krabbe in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Oxford's goalie prevented a goal. Andy Uytdebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven den Pelsmaeker having to interfere. Dan Klaes scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steffen Kortens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven den Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 26th minute of play. Steffen Kortens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Klaes in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to KV Ertvelde getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dan Klaes hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Stephan Van Den Haecke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Oxford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephan Van Den Haecke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Uytdebroeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Fc Oxford's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Krabbe came free, but Steffen Kortens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Krabbe to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Fc Oxford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Sneijers to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Cesar Krabbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Oxford's zone, Dan Klaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Kortens came out of the goal and Dan Klaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven den Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Fc Oxford's Stephan Van Den Haecke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven den Pelsmaeker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stephan Van Den Haecke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffen Kortens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Klaes in the 74th minute. Fc Oxford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Dan Klaes scored to the left of an out of position Steffen Kortens, making the score, 1-2. If Cesar Krabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven den Pelsmaeker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Van Den Haecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Uytdebroeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven den Pelsmaeker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Kenney Stuckers kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens got control of the ball when Dan Klaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andy Uytdebroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sven den Pelsmaeker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Fc Oxford had been in control for most of the match, KV Ertvelde still came away with the win.
