After 31 played minutes Four Roses got a freekick which was hit by Arno Taverniers. 41 minutes into the game, Four Roses's Gilliam Goovaers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Wyfliets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hannes Van Der Meeren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gilliam Goovaers kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Timothy Vanden Driessche made the kick off in the second half. Gilliam Goovaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gilliam Goovaers came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Four Roses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilliam Goovaers couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Wyfliets was a little too slow when Gilliam Goovaers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-5. Timothy Vanden Driessche hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Mats Imberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KVSK Forges's Walter Pieters in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Four Roses's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Four Roses eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
