In the 10th minute, Tommas Kerkhofs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilian Mertens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilian Mertens in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wouter Decoster, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tjorven Reiniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Charly Van Cruchten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wouter Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilian Mertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wouter Decoster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio De Groot struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Billie Beullens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Lancer Evo. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Sergio De Groot put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Billie Beullens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio De Groot in the 46th minute of play forced Kurwa FC's goalkeeper Billie Beullens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilian Mertens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wouter Decoster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Sporting Lancer Evo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Binjamin Coryn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wouter Decoster having to interfere. Billie Beullens was a little too slow when Achilles Rompen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Charly Van Cruchten fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurwa FC's protests and gave Charly Van Cruchten a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Kurwa FC got a freekick which was hit by Charly Van Cruchten. Wouter Decoster came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurwa FC's Charly Van Cruchten. But to his dismay, Charly Van Cruchten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Kurwa FC booed when Sporting Lancer Evo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fransesco Ourogge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wouter Decoster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilian Mertens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charly Van Cruchten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Wouter Decoster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Lancer Evo's Sergio De Groot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Billie Beullens. That made the score 1-3 after 81 minutes of play. Billie Beullens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio De Groot in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Lancer Evo booed when Kurwa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charl Jans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Thys Van Camp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting Lancer Evo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
